What Is Your Marketing Actually Returning?
Posts are going out. Campaigns are running. Enquiries may be coming in.
But what is all that activity actually changing in the business?
One real business. One unresolved question. Investigated live.
- Tuesday 6th October 2026
- 12:30pm to 1:30 pm EAT
- Live on Google Meet
- Limited to 10 organisations
Apply to attend. You can also volunteer your business for the live investigation.
You know something is off. You just can't point to what.
You are not short on activity. You are short on knowing what the activity is actually producing.
You’re posting. You’re running ads. You’ve tried the agency, the freelancer, the “just be consistent” advice, the referral push, the discount that was supposed to bring people back. Some weeks it looks like it’s working. Most weeks you genuinely cannot tell.
Everyone around you keeps answering a different question than the one you’re actually asking. They tell you what to post. You want to know if posting is even the problem.
A Strategy Clinic. Not a webinar.
What Is Your Marketing Actually Returning?
One business. One real question. Investigated live, using the evidence behind what is actually happening – no slides, no frameworks, no generic tips you’ve already heard.
We pull at the thread the way we pull at it inside Qallann: what the current activity is actually producing, where the return is leaking out before it reaches revenue, and whether the real issue is tactical, structural, or strategic – because those three things get fixed in completely different ways, and most businesses have never had anyone tell them which one they’re dealing with.
This is for you if:
This clinic is for founders, business leaders and marketing decision-makers who recognise at least one of these situations:
- You're doing things, but you can't tell what's working.
- Marketing feels busy, not reliable.
- You're getting attention, but not enough of the right buyers.
- You have tried enough different approaches that you no longer know whether the next idea is genuinely strategic or simply another guess.
- You don't know if the problem is the message, the offer, the audience, the sales process, or the market itself - and you're tired of guessing.
What you'll take back to your own business
You’ll see how to separate activity from return, symptoms from causes, and tactical problems from structural or strategic ones.
More importantly, you’ll see what those distinctions look like when they are applied to a real business question, not a hypothetical example.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer way to investigate what is actually happening in your own business before investing in another solution.
Put your business forward
One business will be selected for the live Strategy Clinic. If there is a marketing question your business has been unable to resolve, you can volunteer to have it investigated in the room.
The selected organisation will receive a preparation conversation before the clinic and a private debrief afterwards to help make sense of what emerged.
Nothing about your business will be discussed publicly without agreement.
You can also apply simply to attend.
How it works
Places are limited to 10 organisations and registration does not guarantee participation.
In the application, tell us whether you’re applying to attend, volunteering your business or both.
We review applications to create a room of people who will get genuine value from the session. If your business is selected for the live investigation, we’ll speak beforehand and agree what can be discussed.

Prefer this privately, for your business alone?
The Strategy Clinic is designed to make the work visible by investigating one real organisation’s question in a small room. But some questions are better examined privately.
If you have a specific marketing or growth problem you want to investigate in depth, you can book a standalone Strategy Examination for your own organisation. Same approach. Your organisation. Your question. No audience.
FROM QALLANN
Qallann is a strategy-first marketing consultancy. We help businesses identify the problem before investing in the solution.
For eight years, we’ve seen the same pattern: businesses responding to uncertainty with more activity when what they actually need is a clearer understanding of what is happening.
This clinic is where we make that work visible.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this a session about marketing tactics?
Not primarily. We are interested in understanding the problem before deciding what should be done about it.
The issue may turn out to be tactical. It may also be structural or strategic. The point of the clinic is to investigate which one you are actually dealing with before adding another solution.
Do I have to volunteer my business to attend?
No.
You can apply simply to attend and learn from the live investigation.
If you have a genuine question about your own business, you can also choose to volunteer it for consideration.
What does volunteering my business involve?
If your business is selected, we will speak with you before the clinic to understand the question you want investigated and agree what information can be discussed in the session.
Nothing sensitive is shared publicly without agreement.
Will everyone who applies be given a place?
No.
The room is deliberately limited to 10 organisations and we will review applications before confirming participation.
We want the people in the room to be able to engage with the session and get genuine value from it.
What if I am not selected for the live investigation?
You can still attend if you are offered a place.
The clinic is designed so that the learning transfers beyond the featured business. You’ll see how we investigate the problem and be able to apply the same questions to your own situation.
Can I bring my marketing manager or another member of my team?
You can indicate this in your application.
Places are limited, so we will confirm attendance individually. If the clinic is relevant to both of you, tell us who you would like to bring and why.
Does this only apply to certain industries?
No.
The clinic is concerned with how businesses investigate the relationship between marketing activity and commercial outcomes.
The tactics may differ between industries. The underlying questions about what is working, why it is working and where the return is being lost are relevant across sectors.
We have already tried several agencies, campaigns and approaches. Is this still relevant?
Probably more so.
The more things you have tried without being able to explain what changed, the greater the risk that you are responding to uncertainty with another tactic.
This clinic is designed to slow that cycle down long enough to investigate what is actually happening.
Is this a sales presentation for Qallann?
No.
The Strategy Clinic is a working session.
We may identify questions or next steps that businesses want help with afterwards, but the purpose of the session itself is to investigate a real business question and make the process visible.
Is the session recorded?
The session may be recorded.
If a business is selected for the live investigation, recording and the use of any identifiable information will be discussed and agreed in advance.
